NOVEMBER MISSION FOCUS - During this month of NOVEMBER our Zion UMW invite you to join them in supporting CWS - Church World Service “Blanket Sunday” which is about more than providing blankets during catastrophes. Zemichael Gebretadik, pictured here, is a refugee from Eritrea whom CWS resettled in Harrisburg, PA. He began working long hours in a food processing plant, studied English and saved money to attend community college. He is involved in a local Eritrean church and leads Bible studies. He said: “The CWS staff helped me a lot in the beginning, and now I sometimes interpret for new Eritreans who come. My life is very different and now I can work and even send money back to my family.”www.cwsglobal.orgPlease help CWS help other refugees by making a check out to Zion UMW re: CWS –or- place your gift of cash in the donation basket. ~ Gratefully, Zion UMW
