Our MISSION for the Month of JANUARY is our very own United Methodist Committee on Relief – UMCOR.  www.umcor.org  Churches along our Mexican border have decided that “they have to do something” to alleviate the human suffering of those crossing into the U.S.  So, UMCOR has provided funding and staff expertise to many churches and ministries that are helping people who risk their lives, often to leave communities in which their lives were in danger every day. While the politicians debate, the church helps out. Please give generously by making your check out to Zion UMC re: UMCOR. A donation basket is also available in the Fellowship Room.  ~  Gratefully, Zion Membership & Missions Com.

New Carpet Fund donations so far: $1015 ~   Total Needed $4925.

All preaching is based on SCRIPTURE, TRADITION, REASON, and EXPERIENCE.

The purpose of the United Methodist Church
is to make disciples of Jesus Christ
for the transformation of the world.
