During the month of  FEBRUARY, we will help support the mission chosen by our young people: Samaritan Purse's Ministry for Children with Disabilities. Mrs. Lund's Sunday school class chose Children with Disabilities to help children who are less fortunate than they are. In developing countries, disabilities like cleft lip, club foot, spina bifida, scoliosis, polio, visual impairment, and hearing loss often mean life without educa-tion, employment, dignity, or hope. Samaritan’s Purse has helped thousands of disabled children by furnish-ing reconstructive surgery, wheelchairs, medical devices, therapy, and special education.

Congratulations! Courtney (Cunningham) & Joe Perino of Chicago are blessed to announce the arrival of Benna Olivia Perino on October 14, 2015. She is the little sister of Averill Marie (2), and she is scheduled to be baptized into Christ at Zion on Sunday March 6!

All preaching is based on SCRIPTURE, TRADITION, REASON, and EXPERIENCE.

The purpose of the United Methodist Church
is to make disciples of Jesus Christ
for the transformation of the world.
